The 2019 Toyota Camry was one of the top selling models for Toyota but with the drastic shift in interest, its future is looking a little bleak now.

According to Lexus, the new shift in interest from sedan to SUV, Crossover, hatchback, and trucks will take a toll on sedans models like the Toyota Camry. Toyota Global Branding Chief, Tokua Fukuichi also added that future sedans will have to be more dynamic and less formal if it wants to compete with the SUV and crossovers in the market.

One of the things that he thinks they should work on is the steering response of sedans. He also pointed out that other sedan models like the Lexus GS might have a tough time in the near future.

It was initially thought that the sudden demand for SUVs and crossover was going to be a temporary thing but it looks like it is here to stay. What do you think future sedans need to offer so that it does not get forgotten?
