When Bandai Namco announced that Dark Souls will be remastered for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC fans were, of course, unhappy but it was later added that those consoles will also be getting the Dark Souls Remastered as well.

It was announced that the Dark Souls Remastered will be developed by From Software and that fans can expect to see the game come with 4k resolution with 60FPS when playing the game on the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro and PC.

The Nintendo Switch version, on the other hand, will play at 1080 p resolution with 30FPS when in TV Mode. Darks Souls Remastered will be arriving for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 25th of May.

The developer has also announced a special Dark Souls Trilogy box for PS4 but it is only being offered in Japan. Besides the games, the box will contain the soundtracks for the game, knight and bonfire bookends, encyclopedia and a special art set. No word on whether the other regions will be getting it or not.
