China Wants To Become Pioneer In Electric Supercar Industry

By  |

The Tesla Model S was given the Ludicrous Mode and this meant that it became the fastest electric vehicle. However it doesn’t quite match up to gas supercars. This is something that car makers in China want to do something about as they are looking to get in on the action before things get too crowded.

NextEV in China want to build an electric vehicle that can offer up 1360 horses. If you combine this with unlimited torque produced from electricity, you will get a vehicle that is going to be super fast.

At the moment we don’t know the specs of the vehicle from NextEV but the company says that we can expect the vehicle to reach 62mph in under 3 seconds flat. It is also able to reach the fastest acceleration from standing still to 200 miles per hour.

NextEV also said that the vehicle is in development and they are going to launch a concept before the end of the year. So if things go to plan we may be seeing them have the vehicle ready before 2020.
