It has been clear for a while now that crossovers and SUVs are the way to go for automakers right now which means the future is not looking too good for sedans and hatchbacks.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Chevrolet Impale might be in danger as Chevrolet might be looking to phase it out in a few years time. Although the Chevrolet Impale did receive some positive feedbacks from the consumers, it was reported that the sales numbers were not high enough to convince Chevrolet that it should be kept for a little longer.

Of course, Chevrolet is not the only automaker that is looking to cut off their sedan and hatchback models. There have been reports that Ford could also be looking to remove their Ford Fiesta from their US lineup. There were also rumors about the Taurus getting the same fate as well.
