We got to see the new Colorado ZR2 AEV concept at SEMA last year and finally, Chevrolet is almost ready to show off the production version of the concept.
Called the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison. the vehicle was shown off to the dealers at the Find New Roads Experience in Las Vegas this month. One Dealer revealed that the truck would look very similar to the concept that we saw and that Chevrolet only made a few minor changes to it.
The concept was fitted with off-road bumpers, extended fender flares, AEV beadlock wheels, 35-inch BF Goodrich KM2 Mud-Terrain tires and a long list of off-road features and tech.
Powering the concept was a 2.8 liter Duramax diesel engine. There was also the 3.6 liter V6 engine option that would offer about 308hp.
Chevrolet has not announced anything yet but it is said that we will be seeing it in the showrooms soon with a starting price of $40,995.
