Chevrolet Camaro vs Ford Mustang In Battle That Never Reaches An End

By  |

The battle between the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro is one that never ends and it looks like it is one that people never get tired of hearing about. So is there ever going to be a winner once and for all?

The comparison here is between the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and the 2015 Ford Mustang. This means that perhaps it is going to be a competition between a red hot muscle car and a muscle car that is newly designed.

When it comes to the engines of the two vehicles you have to take into account that out of the three engines of the Camaro two of them outmuscle the combined ones of the Ford Mustang. The Camaro has a 2 litre engine that offers up 275 horses and the 2.3 litre turbocharged of the Ford Mustang offers 310 horses.

The Ford Mustang is the winner for suspension and brakes. This is due to the fact that we don’t know a great deal about the suspension about the Camaro. The Mustang does have a good record over its 50 year history.

The cabin of the Chevrolet Camaro does happen to be overcrowded when compared to the Ford Mustang. The Camaro looks more along the lines of a Transformer while the Mustang is more along the lines of Fast and Furious.

When it comes to the curb weight the Chevrolet Camaro takes the win. If this was some years ago then perhaps the Mustang would take the advantage. The Chevrolet managed to drop 200 pounds and so we think it wins here.

So according to us the Chevrolet Camaro takes the win, however you may think differently.

So is the Ford Mustang the winner or would you say that the Chevrolet Camaro should come out ahead?

Well, I’m still rolling in a ’69 Camaro SS 4sp (bought it new) so back it out and let’s cut the BS

I’m not quite sure how the 2015 Mustang suspension has a proven track record of 50 years when this is the first year it has independent rear suspension. Pretty sure the Camaro actually wins in this category.

But if you were digging for a category for the mustang to win, perhaps head room, or greater visibility would’ve been better ones to pick from.
