Chevrolet made it clear from the start that the Chevrolet Bolt will be rolling out in stages and that the vehicle will only be fully available nationwide this September but Chevrolet is looking to speed things up now.
According to Fred Ligouri, the representative for GM, Chevrolet will be speeding up the release of their Chevrolet Bolt EV. He added that we might see the Bolt EV released nationally in August this year.
While the Bolt sales number has not seen pretty impressive, that was only because the vehicle was only available in a few selected states. Despite that limitation, Chevrolet was able to sell 5950units of the Bolt EV from January 2017 to May 2017 which is more than half the amount of Volt sold. Chevrolet sold a total of 9187 units of Volt during the same period.
We are expecting the numbers to rise significantly when the Bolt arrives nationwide.
