One of the largest retailers in the US, Walmart, will be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 5 for the first time and they will be offering discounts on the device. The new iPhone can be pre-ordered from tomorrow at stores in the US and you can get it for $189.97 with a contract of two years. Apple announced that the price of the 16GB as $199.

Walmart have also dropped the price of the iPhone 4S which can now be picked up starting at $89.97 on a contract of two years. The iPhone 4 can be bought for just 99 cents also with a two year contract.
The iPhone 5 is set to become the best-selling handset of all time as it is thought that Apple will sell around 10 million units before the end of September. Since the first iPhone was launched in 2007 in total there have been 244 million units sold.
iPhone 5 pre-orders will arrive in your hands on the 21st September, which is the same day that the device will be available in Walmart and Apple stores.
Target didn’t confirm that it would be selling the iPhone 5 and Best Buy said that they would sell it but they didn’t offer any more details. RadioShack will also sell the iPhone on 21st September and they are offering a trade in of $200 for the 4S and at least $115 for the iPhone 4.
