The BMW i3 and the BMW i8 came in as the first vehicles of BMW’s i range of electric vehicles but it looks like their time here is almost over as new reports seem to suggest that the BMW i3 will not be getting a next-gen model and that it will be the end of the vehicle once this generation phased out.

We know that BMW has every intention to expand the i range as they have already made it clear that electric vehicles are part of their plan and that the BMW i4 will be the next I range model to arrive.

We also got to see the i Vision Dynamics Concept which was previewed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. The vehicle will be turned into a production model and will be given the name iNext when it finally arrives.

Of course, we do not know when BMW plans to phase out the BMW i3 and BMW i8 so we will have to wait and see.
