BMW i3: Better Strap Up

It is always a good idea to strap on your seatbelt when you get into the car when for the BMW i3, you might want to make sure you do it everytime you are behind the wheels.

BMW issues a recall to recall back their BMW i3 after it was revealed that the BMW i3 failed the front rigid barrier crash test from NHTSA. According to the reports, the crash test results showed that a female driver without seatbelts would be at a higher risk of getting a neck injury in an accident.

Models that would be affected will be those from 2014 to 2018 which basically means all BMW i3 model will be affected by the recall. Besides announcing the recall, BMW will also be issuing a stop sale notice for their BMW i3 until they get these issues fix.

The repairs will only start next year so while you wait for BMW’s call, make sure you strap on your seatbelt.
