Those who play Black Ops 2 have been up and down over the past 24 hours thanks to the Nuketown 2025 multi-player map that was available to those who had pre-ordered the game. The map quickly became a favourite however Treyarch decided to remove the map from online play when the double XP weekend was over.
Black Ops 2 Nuketown fiasco
Fans of Black Ops 2, who had pre-ordered it to get their hands on Nuketown, were of course very upset, to say the least. They took their frustration out on the Treyarch developers on Twitter. One of the developers happened to be David Vonderhaar, who apparently thought the same as the fans in regards to the Nuketown 2025 playlist having been taken away
However it seems that the problem has been rectified as within the past few hours Vonderhaar has waved a magic wand and created a playlist for Black Ops 2 online with the name of “Chaos Moshpit”. This means that you can get XP online in Nuketown once again.
Along with Nuketown, Chaos Moshpit comes with smaller maps which include Carrier, Cargo, Express, Hijacked, Slums and Standoff. All of these are playable on different games modes. However don’t think that these will be here forever.
Vonderhaar did say on Twitter that no playlist is guaranteed. However he did go on to say that Chaos Moshpit should be here for some time. What we want to know though is how they thought they could get away with taking away Nuketown from Black Ops 2 fans, which was an incentive to pre-order. Of course if it is removed again, and it sounds as though it’s only a matter of time before this happens, fans will inundate Activision again.
What’s with all this confusion over Nuketown 2025 on Black Ops 2?!
