There hasn’t been much said about a DLC for Black Ops 2 since it was released in November. However we do know that there will be releases of four map packs as part of the Season Pass. Going into the New Year it seems that the first pack could have made its appearance unofficially. Posters have been seen which seem to reveal that the first content will be Revolution. This comprises of four multi-player maps along with a brand new zombie map.
Black Ops 2 DLC: Die Rise Zombies map hinted
Over the years we have seen four new maps released with each of the map packs to be released. This would be superb news if Activision and Treyarch are going to give holders of the Season Pass an extra multi-player map. While the Black Ops 2 poster seems to be the real deal, Activision has not said anything to confirm or deny it.
If the Black Ops 2 poster is the real thing then Revolution would come with maps with the names of Hydro, Downhill, Grind and Mirage. You can see images of each of the maps, however everyone is concentrating on the new zombie map, which is called Die Rise, if this pans out.
Those who like zombie games will know that this is a similar name to the Der Riese map name that was seen in the World at War game. However it is not known if the two are connected. The photo for the Die Rise game shows a background with skyscrapers, which of course differs from the Der Rise map in the German Nazi facility.
Info on the poster seems to suggest that Revolution should be released on 29th January for Black Ops 2 and this means just a three week wait until the first map is revealed. Xbox 360 gamers will get their hands on the game first and if you don’t have a season pass you can get it for $14.99. At the moment none of this is official so we have to wait to see what Activision say.
