Black Ops 2 Die Rise Zombies Map & Its Little Easter Egg!

By  |

There have been many rumours going around about the DLC for Black Ops 2, which is coming out soon and called Revolution. With the DLC, gamers are able to play 5 new multi-maps, of which one has the name of Die Rise. Gamers can expect to get their hands on the Black Ops 2 DLC on 29th January and here are some interesting details about the DLC. One of these is the fact that there will be an Easter Egg to solve.

Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC: Die Rise Zombies map Easter egg (spoiler)

A gamer has said that he has been playing the Revolution DLC for some time now before it has been released. He did not however go into details about how he managed this. He has been talking about the zombie map in the game and the fact that it links back to the Der Riese map from the original game, Call of Duty: World at War.

The information below might spoil the Revolution DLC for you so you might not want to read the rest, however it is interesting.

Black Ops 2 will take place in Germany and it seems that there will be four regions, these having been seen in Green Run. T.E.D.D the robot driver will be in the game and this time around he takes on the persona of a farmer and he drives around a cart. This can be used to take you around the City, Village, Nuclear Plant and Railroad Station.

You will have to travel back to Der Riese in order to do an achievement, with the name of “Where it all started”. This is where you have to find a giant. In German, Der Riese is giant. This is a great way of telling you that the Easter Egg relies on you going back into the old map.

This could be a pattern as Treyarch out Nacht Der Untoten in Green Run. Of course these are nothing but rumours at the moment, but they do sound interesting. Of course there is also the question of if Black Ops 2 got hacked, who else has managed to play the Revolution DLC and the Die Rise Zombies map already?
