Things are going very well for the Audi Q5 at the moment and they are ahead of most of the competition. However Audi shouldn’t get too complacent and relax as Volvo is working on the updated version of the Volvo XC60, which should come our way in 2018.
When the 2017 Volvo XC60 was launched it didn’t come with much of an upgrade. This is why when the 2018 version arrives people are expecting Volvo to have given it more attention. We did get to see spy shots and these revealed that the vehicle is going to offer a grille with chrome on the border along with new T-shaped LED lights for the headlights. From what we can see the design of it is taken from the Volvo XC90.
Under the hood of the Volvo XC60 is a 2 litre four cylinder engine and this is thought to offer 187 horses to 232 horses. We have also heard it said that there may be a T8 Twin turbocharged plug-in engine coming at some point in the future.
When the Volvo XC60 does make it out onto the roads it will sit alongside the XC90 and the XC40.
