Fans who have the Samsung Galaxy S3 on AT&T will be happy to know that there is an OTA update available at 82MB which will boost the version to UCALH9. So what does the update bring to those own the AT&T Galaxy S3?
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 first to major update (not Jelly Bean)
One of the biggest changes that users will see with the update is a new slider for the brightness in the notification drop down area. It has also been said that VPN along with enterprise security enhancements also come with this update. The Samsung Galaxy S3 update is not as major as Jelly Bean of course so if you don’t wish to update it won’t be a great loss.
Given that AT&T is first to this Samsung Galaxy S3 update, here’s hoping it will get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean before Verizon, Sprint and the rest of the gang too.
At this time, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update is rumored to launch in October, with US models having to wait as late as November before they can get their hands on the update.
