It was just yesterday that Bloomberg reported AT&T would be announcing the Nokia Lumia 920 to ther line up sometime this week, that AT&T went ahead and confirmed the HTC One X+. Now if you think that’s enough on your plate to choose from then today comes another surprise. AT&T have gone ahead and just said that they will be getting the Optimus G from LG. The device will have the Qualcomm quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM.
The handset will have 32 GB of storage and a display of 4.7 inches at a resolution of 1280 x 768. It comes with a camera of 8 megapixels and runs on a battery of 2100mAh. The device comes with ICS and has the custom interface of LG. it comes with numerous apps including Quickmemo and it runs on the 4G LTE network.
The LG Optimus G was introduced to Japan earlier in the year and LG said that it would hit the US in November. AT&T are the first to announce that they will have the Optimus G, however they have not given a date for release or set the price of the handset.
So there you have it. While AT&T users must have been envious at the Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR HD and MAXX HD announcements, looking at it all now it is AT&T that has the bigger selection.
