The flagship Nokia Lumia 920 is a powerhouse that’s expected to propel the Windows Phone platform to the next level. Not only does it look good, but it has the Pure View camera, NFC and it supports wireless charging and comes with the latest version of Windows Phone 8. In short it has everything you could want in a handset.
AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 exclusivity only for 6 months, carriers like Verizon may pick it up after
Perhaps the only downside to the Nokia Lumia 920 is that in the US it will be available as an exclusive from AT&T. BGR now quotes WPCentral as saying that AT&T will have the handset as an exclusive for six months only actually.
Following this period of time it is possible that other carriers will start to receive other versions of the Nokia Lumia 920. Nokia have shown an interest in offering the handset to other carriers in the US. The Nokia Lumia 920 will be available on AT&T, while T-Mobile and Verizon will be offering the Lumia 810 and the Lumia 822 to their consumers.
The Nokia Lumia 920 boasts an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera that beat out the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 in low light conditions. It also has a 4.5-inch display that is more responsive and has a higher ppi than the above two mentioned rivals. While its hardware is top notch, its only drawback may come with Windows Phone 8 as the platform isn’t as popular as the brand would have hoped.
