While Windows Phone 8 will launch on 29th October only, today Best Buy had announced the pricing of the Nokia Lumia 920, along with the HTC 8X on their website. You can pre-order the Nokia Lumia 920 with a price tag of $149 and the 8X from HTC will be $99.

The prices for the two handsets rely on consumers taking out a contract over two years. If you want to buy the device unlocked without contract, then you can expect to pay $600. The Nokia Lumia 920 comes in a choice of colours, including black, white, red, cyan and yellow. The HTC 8X is listed as being available in, oddly enough, just purple.
At the moment there is no indication of when the two Windows Phone 8 devices will ship to consumers. The only information the website offers is that they will ship when they are available. It is thought that the date will be announced on 29th October when Windows Phone 8 is launched. This event is competing with Google and their news about Android devices, with rumours that a new Nexus handset is coming our way.
The Nokia Lumia 920 of course is the star of the WP8 platform and boasts an 8.7-megapixel Pureview camera that seems unmatchable in low-light conditions, as well as a 4.5-inch display which beats the best on the market right now i.e. iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
