If you have been patiently waiting to get your hands on either the behemoth Nokia Lumia 920 or the Galaxy Note 2, then you may not have to wait much longer if you’re on AT&T.
AT&T: iPhone 5 to be joined by Nokia Lumia 920 & Samsung Galaxy Note 2 next month
A trusted source at BGR has just said that the two giant smartphones will be joining the iPhone 5 in stores next month, the 21st of October to be exact. Both of these handsets were announced within days of each other mind you. The Nokia Lumia 920 was revealed at the press conference just last week and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was revealed 29th August in Berlin at the Unpacked event.
Both handsets offer a lot of real estate, the Nokia Lumia 920 having a 4.5 inch display and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 a 5.5 inch screen, so it falls under the phablet category. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a newly designed S Pen stylus with better grip while the Lumia 920 has Windows Phone 8 and could be a viable alternative if you want to steer away from iOS or the Android platform.
Compared to the iPhone 5, both the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Nokia Lumia 920 have their merits. The Nokia Lumia 920 has a better display than the iPhone 5 Retina, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is more powerful than the iPhone 5 (in fact, it tops the Galaxy S3 as well thanks to its overclocked processor). However neither one of these devices are for small hands.
