AT&T will be bringing their LTE services to customers throughout Philadelphia, Seattle and Pittsburgh along with many more markets before the end of the year is out.
AT&T iPhone 5 will have 44 new markets to run on this year alone
AT&T made the announcement on Thursday and AppleInsider took it upon themselves to make a list of all the markets that had received a press release from the carrier saying that they would have LTE before the end of the year.
The total amount of markets that AT&T will be expanding into is 44. Along with those listed above, AT&T plan on bringing LTE to Milwaukee, Memphis, Detroit, Portland and Cincinnati, plus many others.
With the iPhone 5 rumored to come with LTE support, Verizon is expected to steal many customers away from AT&T given that they have better LTE coverage. With just a week to go before the iPhone 5 is unveiled, this announcement by AT&T couldn’t have been timed any better.
The iPhone 5 is rumored to hit Verizon, AT&T and Sprint stores before the month is up.
