AT&T HTC One M8 Marshmallow Update Not Their Only Problem

By  |

While those using the unlocked version of the HTC One M8 have already gotten their Android Marshmallow update, AT&T users are still waiting for their update to arrive but it looks like the Marshmallow update is not the only problem they will have to face.

New reports now suggest that the new charging feature, the Quick Charge 3.0 might only be supported by a few chipset, the Snapdragon 820, 620, 618,617 and 430. Devices running on the other chipset will not get the Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The HTC One M8 runs on the Snapdragon 801 which means they will have to be satisfied with the Quick Charge 2.0.

There is still no news on when the Marshmallow update will be arriving for the AT&T HTC One M8 users either. Things are certainly not looking too good for the HTC One M8 users. Verizon and T-Mobile users will be receiving their update this month.
