It has been suggested that Apple may be making room for the iPad Pro 2 and to do so they may kill off the iPad Air.

Stocks of the iPad Air 2 are dwindling down and it doesn’t look as though they are being replaced. Some resellers have updated stores and they have given indication that they are not receiving any more stock.

MacMall only offer the space gray and silver version of the 32GB WiFi tablet and B&H are out of stock of the 128GB LTE gray and silver 32GB version of the iPad Air. Apple stores also have limits on the iPad Air 2 and some stores have advertised that it isn’t available until 20 February at the earliest.

The low levels may mean that Apple could be getting ready to launch the iPad Pro 2 and it has been said that we are going to see three versions come our way this year. He first of them will be a 9.7 inch with lower specs. The next is the 10.5 inch iPad Pro and it should come with a small micro bezel design. The last will be the 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2.

We have also heard that along with the iPad Pro 2 Apple may unveil a new Apple Pencil. The new tablets could be launched with the Pencil and this may happen during the second half of 2017.
