We are expecting Apple to announce the Apple iPhone 8 in a few months time and before that happens, all we have to work with are the rumours and speculation.
The latest rumour suggests that the Apple iPhone 8 will come with a wireless charging feature but the feature will not be available in the beginning. According to John Gruber, Apple’s inductive charging feature could arrive later.
He adds that we might only see the feature when a new iOS 11 update arrives as the update will come in time with a different accessory that will make use of Apple’s Wireless charging features.
This won’t be the first time Apple held back some of its features and only release it with an update after the release. Of course, we do not know if this news is real or not so it is best to take it all with a pinch of salt for now.
