By  |

Fingerprint sensors is a feature that most smartphones will come with right now but it looks like Apple has found security measure.

Instead of using your fingerprint, it looks like Apple wants you to use your face to unlock the device. According to Bloomberg, the Apple iPhone 8 might come without the fingerprint sensor and that we might see a new facial recognition feature instead.

The report also claims that the system that Apple has will be capable of scanning the user’s face in less than a hundred milliseconds and that it will still work even if it is laying flat on the ground.

There were also talks about Apple possibly offering an eye scanner as well but we will have to wait and find out. Bloomberg claims that Apple will only offer the feature on the iPhone 8 if the system works perfectly.

Do you think facial recognition is going to be better than fingerprints?
