The things about smartphones is that despite all their efforts to make the battery last longer, most device won’t make it through a full day and that means there will be times when the users will have to stay put so that the phone can charge up but Apple is looking for ways to reduce the time for their iPhone 8 users.
According to Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis, the Apple iPhone 8 will come with a new Lightning Cable with USB-C Power Delivery Chip. With this, the charging time should reduce significantly.
He is not the first to suggest that the Apple iPhone 8 might come with a USB-C charger as this was also suggested by Ming-Chi Kuo. There were also talks about the Apple iPhone 8 coming with a wireless charging feature.
It is still too early to say if any of these is real so take it in with a pinch of salt.
