More handsets are getting the update to Android 7.0 Nougat but the update is going to be worse on the Samsung Galaxy S7 than it will be on the Moto Z. At the moment owners of the S7 have only got the Nougat beta program to rely on and the update isn’t going to support Daydream VR on the S7 but it will on the Moto Z.
Motorola confirmed that they are rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat for the Moto Z and it should arrive before the end of the year. The update is also said to be heading to the DROID edition of the Moto Z, with the update being 1.5GB in size.
Motorola said that the update to Android 7.0 Nougat is going to offer split-screen multitasking, quick switching, customization and support for the Daydream VR platform.
So, while the Android 7.0 Nougat update is heading to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Moto Z, it looks like those who own the Moto Z are going to get the better deal.
