If you own the unlocked version of the HTC 10 there is some good news as the update to Android Nougat is heading your way. However if you own the carrier version of the device then you are out of luck as carrier models are going to have to wait.
It is common knowledge that HTC has been testing the Android Nougat software for the HTC 10 for some time now. But up to now it wasn’t made clear when they would be sending it out to handsets. Now we have heard that it is going to make its way out 25 November, but only for the unlocked versions of the handset.
Of course we can expect a staged rollout of Android Nougat for the HTC 10 and so some owners will get it before others. We also haven’t heard about when carrier handsets are going to get the update. However, this is good news at least as the update is gradually coming closer to handsets.
Do you own the HTC 10 and do you have the Android Nougat update for the handset yet?
