Well here is some good news for Android fans. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has been hailed as the “best platform experience” by Parsons when giving out their award for the “Parsons School of Design User Experience 2012”.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich gets it right
We first heard about this when it was announced on Matias Duarte’s Google+ page, and the post met with copious well-wishes and words of encouragement and agreement.
The recently updated Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS has been complimented by bloggers across the globe as a real step forward and away from Androids of yesteryear, which sported a plain and uninteresting platform with a user experience that just could not get us excited. At the time, the best vendors could do was change skins to spice things up a bit, but it wasn’t enough. However now the platform has exploded onto the scene has a serious competitor to Apple, it is good to see it now getting the recognition is deserves.
It may have been just a gradual growth with a slight improvement with each updated software version, but the Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) has finally hit the nail on the head.
While not everyone would love the electric blue overtones of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Parsons School of Design has had the last word, with voters giving the team working for Google’s Android user experience the crown.
