The Alfa Romeo Giulia along with the Stelvio are going to make many people very happy and we are not just talking about buyers of the vehicles. We are talking about the fact that 2,000 more jobs are going to be available at the Cassino Assembly Plant by 2018.
The Cassino Assembly plant is where the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Stelvio are both made. These are two vehicles that both have the rear-wheel drive Giorgio architecture and is located just outside of Cassino.
The Prime Minister of Italy revealed that 2,000 additional jobs would be made available to join the 4, 300 that are already working at the plant. It is thought that the number of workers is going to rise to more than 6,300 during the next 18 to 24 months.
The plant at Cassino also makes the Giulietta hatchback and it has been in operation since 1972. The plant has been responsible for Lancia and Fiat models from the past and was turned into a production site for Alfa in 2010.
