Alfa Romeo Giulia: No Manual Is Sacrilege For Italian BMW

By  |

Most of the details we know about the Alfa Romeo Giulia right now is about the top of the range model. Alfa Romeo is now ready to release some additional details about the lower trim model although we do not think that the manual fans will be too happy.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia will come with three trim, the base model, Ti as well as the top of the range Quadrifoglio model. Other than the top of the range model, the other two will come running on a 2.0 liters four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 276hp and 295lb ft of torque. The engine will come mated to an eight-speed auto transmission. From what we know now, it looks like Alfa Romeo has no plans to offer a manual transmission option.

The base powertrain will allow the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Ti model to go from 0-60mph in 5.5seconds. Other features that customers will get includes a seven-inch driver info display, keyless start as well as a flat bottom steering wheel.
