BMW announced that they will be working on a new electric car called the BMW i4 and while it will be years before we actually get to see the vehicle, here are some of the details that we know of the upcoming electric powered model.

According to BMW, the BMW i4 electric car will be build based on the iVision Dynamics concept. The BMW i4 model will be built in Munich, Germany and while they did not say when it will go into production, they did say that it will be released by 2025.

The BMW i4 will be one of the 25 electric powered model BMW promise to deliver by 2025. While the BMW i4 will most likely come with a different engine, the concept that it was based on was powered by an electric powertrain that was offering about 373miles and needed 4 seconds to go from 0-62mph with a top speed of 120mph.

At this point, it is still too early to speculate on what the BMW i4 will be offering.
