With the drop in fuel prices, the demand for SUVs and crossover has skyrocketed this few year. Although some people think that we are already at the peak and that things would start slowing down soon, Hyundai seems to think that there is still room to grow as they reveal their new plans.
According to Hyundai, they will be releasing eight vehicles from now to 2020. We have already seen one of them, the Hyundai Kona and we still have seven more crossovers to look forward to from Hyundai.
Hyundai added that the crossovers will be powered by different fuel types from hydrogen to diesel and some even electric. After the Kona, the next model we will be seeing should be the hydrogen crossover model that will come with a design that is based on the FE Fuel Cell Concept.
We should also see two more electric crossovers getting announced this year. There is still very little details about these vehicles right now but do you think Hyundai is right to bet on crossovers?
