The Ford Mustang has always been about power and excitement but Ford is looking to combine that with going green and that would eventually lead to a hybrid Ford Mustang in the near future.
According to the Detroit Bureau, Ford is looking to offer a hybrid version of their performance car. It was later reported by Autoblog that Ford had confirmed that the hybrid version will be arriving by 2020 which means we will only have to wait for 2 years.
For those are worried that having a hybrid engine would be less fun, Ford ensures the fans that it will not be boring at all as their main goal will still be about offering the performance fans something they will love.
Of course, Ford is also looking at other possibilities for the Mustang like an all-electric model and all-wheel-drive model but we will have to wait and see if Ford really wants to go there.
