We do like what Ford has to offer on the Ford Fusion right now in terms of design but we were looking forward to seeing what Ford will be offering when they announce that the 2020 model will be getting a redesign.

However, with all the issues the sedan market have been experiencing, it looks like Ford might be putting a hold on their redesigning plans for Ford Fusion. Recent reports reveal that Ford might have informed their suppliers that a redesign for the Fusion was not going to happen. This was after a letter from Ford to the supplier was leaked.

It was later reported that the US sales for the Ford Fusion drop 21.1% in 2017. This is the third year that the sales of the sedan have been dropping. Many believe that the rise of the SUV could be the main reason behind the drop.

Ford did assure fans that the Fusion will still be an important part of Ford and that fans can expect to see more new features being offered.
