The 2019 Volkswagen Touareg will be coming in as an all-new model. While some automakers will still keep parts of their vehicle around even when it is an all-new model, Volkswagen has made it clear that the 2019 model will be completely new.

Volkswagen emphasizes that the Volkswagen Touareg will be new right down to the last LED lights. As for what the vehicle will look like, we know that the vehicle’s new design will be based on the T-Prime GTE Concept but we will still have to wait and see how much of the concept they decide to keep.

No word on what the Touareg will be offering under the hood but rumors are suggesting that we would see the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine as well as the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine. Others speculate that the V8 TDI engine and plug-in hybrid might also be on the table.

More will be revealed when the vehicle arrives next spring
