All eyes are on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler but that does not mean that FCA has forgotten all about the Ram 1500.
According to FCA, we will be seeing the Wrangler by the end of this year and that the Ram 1500 will follow one year later. FCA reveal that the 2019 Ram 1500 will be making its debut at the North American International Auto Show.
That is all FCA has to offer for now but they did announce that they will be talking about their five-year plan early next year. The new plan will cover the plans for 2018 until 2022.
The plan will also help make the transition smoother as FCA’s current CEO will be replaced in 2019. No word on who will be replacing Marchionne right now.
FCA added that Ram managed to sell about 487,558 units of trucks last year so getting the Ram 1500 right is very important to them.
