2019 Porsche 911 Isn’t Going To Be Going Electric Nor Hybrid

By  |

Plans have been put into motion for a two door variation of the Porsche 911 in the shape of all-electric Porsche Mission E and we have heard that a hybrid model is going to show up before this happens.

However now we think that this isn’t going to happen as the director of Porsche said that there isn’t any demand for either form to be released.

If we are going to see a 2019 Porsche 911 then it may only happen around a decade from now and this would be when gas vehicles are rarer than they are today.

Right now fans might want to hope for a turbocharged version making the lineup, after all we have seen the six speed stick shift make a return to the GT3.

Porsche doesn’t happen to be among the large scale car makers, and as such it is going to have to concentrate on coming up the Porsche Mission E, Tesla killer, which is said to be arriving in 2020.

So it does seem that the 1,000 people that they got on-board for the EV isn’t enough. But what do you think about an electric version?
