Nissan will be at the New York Auto Show where they will be showing off the 2019 Nissan Altima and according to Nissan, the vehicle will be coming with the ProPilot Assist feature as an option.

The ProPilot system is a semi-autonomous driving system that will offer steering, acceleration and braking assistance on the highway. The system will recognize other cars and adjust its speed based on that. It can also keep the car in the lane. However, the driver will still need to keep their hands on the steering and pay attention.

The ProPilot is already being offered on the Nissan Rogue crossover SUV and the new Nissan Leaf. While the system still has its limitation, it is still a nice feature to have especially during those long highway drive.

More details of the Nissan Altima will be release when Nissan shows it off at the New York Auto Show this month.
