The carmaker is going to offer a self-driving feature that will allow the Land Rover Defender to automatically adapt to the changed in ground conditions. For instance, if the vehicle came across a large puddle of water it would be able to change to find a comfortable driving level.

It is also thought that the Land Rover Defender might arrive with another piece of hardware and this is in the form of the eight speed dual clutch transmission. Right now the system uses the name of POLAR 3 and it allows the vehicle to deal with up to 442 torque.
