The Jeep Grand Wagoneer first arrived on the market in 1962 and this was the start of the SUV category that we have today. Soon the 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is making its debut and it should arrive in 2018. It is going to offer up a lot, but will it be luxurious, but will it be able to beat the Range Rover for luxury?
We do know that the Jeep Grand Wagoneer won’t be able to brag about the same luxury as the Jeep Grand Cherokee. However it is going to share the same platform. We are expecting it to be made from aluminium body and chassis wise and it will seat 7 passengers.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer has been designed to take on the Ranger Rover and so jeep is going to be spending time on the quality of the materials. While we don’t know about the price tag that is going to be attached, we do know that the 2017 Range Rover V8 is going to be $145, 995, so the Wagoneer may be around the same price bracket.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is going to offer up the eight cylinder engine that is used in Maserati cars and this is the 3 litre twin turbo gas engine, 3 litre twin turbocharged diesel and at the top of the range the 3.8 ltire twin turbocharged gas engine.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer will be made at the Warren Truck Assembly in Detroit, but how well will it compete against the luxury offered by the Range Rover.
