We got to see how the new BMW X2 will look like when BMW took the covers off the vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show this month. The model on display at the event was the AWD model that will be arriving this march but if you would like to save more and do not care for AWD, you might want to wait for a few more months.

BMW has just announced that the front wheel drive model will only be arriving a few months after the AWD model and that the front wheel drive model will come with a slightly smaller price tag.

The FWD model will be called the sDrive28i model. Besides the drive system, the rest of the vehicle will match what the AWD model will have to offer. It is estimated that the FWD model will come with a $36,400 price tag, about $2000 cheaper than the AWD model.
