Bentley was at the Geneva Motor where they showed off the new 2019 Bentley Bentayga Plug-In Hybrid model and here are all the details we know so far.
According to Bentley, the Bentley Bentayga Plug-In Hybrid will be powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that will be paired with an electric motor. Bentley did not announce the fuel economy of the vehicle yet but it will surely be an improvement over the 12mpg in the city and 19mpg on the highway rating that the current model is offering.
According to Bentley, the vehicle should be able to offer about 31miles of electric range. The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid will come in as a four-wheel drive model and drivers will get to choose from a few driving modes including Sports, Bentley, Comfort, Custom, EV, Hybrid and Hold models.
The vehicle will also be accompanied by a smartphone app that drivers can use to check the charge status of the vehicle or search for the nearest charging station in the area. Users can also cool or heat up the vehicle remotely.
The price is still a mystery but consumers can start putting down orders for the vehicle later this year.
