To celebrate the 30th year of Audi building cars in China, Audi will be showing off their new Audi Q8 model in Shanghai this June.
According to Audi, the Audi Q8 will be 1 of the 11 Q models that they will be launching this year and next. While we have not seen the Audi Q8 yet, spy images did suggest that the vehicle will come with a design that is similar to what we have seen on the Audi Q8 E-Tron concept and the Audi Q8 Sports Concept.
The Audi Q8 will be riding on the MLB-Evo platform, the same platform that the Q7 is currently riding on. although the Q8 will be slightly shorter and wider compared to the Q7.
It was also rumored that the vehicle will come with dedicated seating for four although five seater configurations could be offered as an option. The interior design will be based on the Audi A8 design.
There are not many details on the engine but we do know that the vehicle will be getting an RS Q8 model which will be powered by a Porsche engine.
