It feels like more and more automakers are looking to ditch their V6 engine in return for a more fuel efficient engine and the 2019 Acura RDX could be the next one joining the party.

The 2019 Acura RDX was spotted getting tested out in the open but since the vehicle was heavily covered in camo stickers, there is no way we can know what the vehicle will be offering in terms of design but we do know that the new CR-V grille will be making its way over. It will also come with a wider and longer body which means there is going to be more wriggle room on the inside.

There were reports claiming that the 3.5-liter V6 engine will not be coming with the 2019 model. We will instead of seeing a 2.0-liter petrol engine. There might also be a hybrid engine option in the future.

Production should start mid-2018 so expect to hear more about the vehicle then.
