2018 Toyota Tacoma All Set To Take On Wrangler And Ranger
In the mid-sized car segment the likes of Nissan, GM and Honda haven’t been able to catch up with the Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle has been in control but only by a margin that is small. This is down to the fact that the competition hasn’t offered anything that has put up a fight.
One of the best things about the Chevrolet Colorado happens to be the 2.8 litre Duramax engine. The cost of the Colorado is in the same bracket as the Honda Ridgeline at around $31, 700.
The Nissan Frontier sales figures have improved by 45% so far this year. However Nissan really needs to give the vehicle an overhaul. The Toyota Tacoma has seen more than double the sales of the Frontier through last month.
It is thought that Toyota will boost the Toyota Tacoma capacity but the competition on the market is intense. At the moment the Jeep Wrangler is among the most popular choices in the mid-size market and the Ranger is also putting up a good fight with the Tacoma in the same way that it did on the global market with the Toyota Hilux.
The two entries do have a reputation as being difficult off the road and both would offer competition to the Toyota Tacoma in a way that the US peers haven’t been able to do up to now.
