The 2018 Toyota Prius has recently been shown off in ads and promotion videos with tires that smoke and this isn’t too far from what the hybrid version can actually do. The drive is a sporty one and its sharp and some of the haters were pleasantly surprised.
The Toyota Prius ability comes from the TNGA platform that has underpinned the vehicle and the upcoming one should have the 2017 Toyota C-HR crossover architecture in the hybrid version.
The Toyota Camry that is coming our way is going to offer the TNGA platform by 2018, while the mid-sized sedan will offer up a ride that is plush and serene, but don’t expect it to be thrilling.
This is going to go down well for the redesign of the next gen and Toyota may not be able to pull punches when it goes up against the 2018 Honda Accord, which is going to bring changes.
