2018 Subaru WRX STi Is Proof Sedan Isn’t Needed

By  |

It looks as though people just aren’t interested in performance sedans like the Subaru WRX STi as interest has waned. So just what can Subaru do to ensure the survival of models such as the WRX STi?

There are some who say that perhaps Subaru should offer up the hatchback version of the Subaru WRX STi. Hot hackbacks have been gaining a great deal of attention recently and a hatchback version could be all that is needed for the vehicle to get back in favour in the eyes of the public.

Subaru haven’t indicated that the Subaru WRX STi hatchback is the vehicle that they will be working on, so we are not expecting to see the hatchback version make its way out at any time in the near future.

Should the carmaker decide to come up with a Subaru WRX STi hatchback it would have to go up against vehicles that include the Ford Focus RS and the Volkswagen Golf R. But should they offer the hatchback version?
