After the whole diesel scandal, Volkswagen decided to move away from their diesel engines and focus more an electric. With all the new electrified vehicles Volkswagen and Porsche have to offer, Porsche certainly did not expect the Porsche Panamera Hybrid to have this kind of success.

According to the reports, the demand for the Porsche Panamera has skyrocketed ever since the Hybrid version was introduced. Porsche added that they are still on track to build 8000 Porsche Panamera Hybrid this year but added that there is a limit to it.

That is because at the end of the day, they need to batteries to complete the car and their battery supplier currently do not have the capacity to keep up with the demand. Because of that, the delivery time might be longer than 3 – 4 months.

Porsche is still working to find a solution for the problem but before that happens, new customers will have to be prepared to wait a few months before they can get their hands on the Porsche Panamera Hybrid.
