While we are happy that Nissan is finally ready to give the Nissan Leaf a design upgrade along with a range upgrade, what people seems the most excited about is the addition of the new ProPilot Park system.
Nissan has made it clear from the start that the Leaf will come with some sort of autonomous system. We later found out that it was the ProPilot Park which sounds like many of the other parking assist systems out there but Nissan is now showing us how the ProPilot Park is one step above the rest.
According to Nissan, the ProPilot Park system will allow you to park any way you like be it parallel, angled, or the standard perpendicular parking. Drivers can also choose to pull forward or reserve into it.
The new system is definitely a step up from the standard parking system that we have seen but sadly, those living in the US won’t be able to experience the new system yet as Nissan also added that they will only offer the system on their Europe and Japan model first although the US will eventually get it.
