Fans of the Nissan Leaf have been waiting for Nissan to give the Nissan Leaf a proper upgrade for a long time and they finally got to see the new 2018 Nissan Leaf this week. So what will the 2018 model be offering?
First of all, the 2018 Nissan Leaf will be coming in with an all-new design and that includes a new exterior and interior design. Unlike the first Leaf, the 2018 Leaf is more matured and sophisticated. It will come fitted with a set of new headlights and taillights along with a faux grille in the front.
The 2018 Nissan Leaf will be powered by a 40kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will deliver up to 147hp and 236lb ft of torque. According to Nissan, the vehicle will offer about 150miles of range although the European testing regime claims that the vehicle has a range of 235miles.
One of the most important features of the Nissan Leaf is the ProPilot system which will help control and steer the vehicles to that it can keep to its lane. It can even stop the car if needed.
The 2018 Nissan Leaf will retail for $29,990.
